At Least I Was Consistent

I shot the same thing on both the front and back nine. Was that good?? It wasn’t awful but I was so trying to do better.

Lately, I find I’m shanking the ball way too much. Mostly on short, finesse chips, I’m totally missing the ground and sending the ball sailing. That is about the most frustrating thing…especially since my practice shot is perfect!

I did have a few nice pars and the Par 3’s were good to me today…pars and bogeys are OK. I’m still a work in progress. What can I say?? :)

Tomorrow I’m playing with a friend at a nine-hole course. It should be fun, if we get to play. Rain is in the forecast and it’s been cloudy since yesterday. It did rain on us a bit today…but just a spitting rain. If it does that tomorrow, it’ll be OK. I won’t play in the rain…so we’ll see what tomorrow brings. We need it badly, but I don’t want it to interfere with my golf :)

LAW 16: “Nice lag” can usually be translated to “lousy putt.” Similarly, “tough break” can usually be translated “way to miss an easy one, sucker.”

The boys screwed up last night. They lost to the Phillies, so now they’re (the Phils) 1/2 game in first place. They, the Mets, have got to win the next two!!
